16:33       The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.

21:1         The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.

16:4         The LORD works out everything for his own ends—even the wicked for a day of disaster.

21:31       The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.

21:30       There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.

16:1 To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the reply of the tongue.

16:9 In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.

20:24 A man’s steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?

5:21 For a man’s ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all his paths.

15:3 The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.

20:27 The lamp of the LORD searches the spirit of a man; it searches out his inmost being.

20:12 Ears that hear and eyes that see—the LORD has made them both.

16:2 All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD.

21:2 All a man’s ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.

12:2 A good man obtains favor from the LORD, but the LORD condemns a crafty man.

10:3 The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.

15:25 The LORD tears down the proud man’s house but he keeps the widow’s boundaries intact.

15:29 The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

11:20 The LORD detests men of perverse heart, but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.

12:22 The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.

I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them.
