Philosophy of Ministry
The Children’s Ministry at North Macon Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God by partnering with parents and the congregation to grow our covenant children and children in the community through the nurture and admonition of the Lord so that they in turn will “glorify and enjoy Him forever” and impact their world for our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Values
It is our desire that our children will:
- Know God
- Know His Word
- Understand God’s grace through Jesus Christ
- Worship God in spirit and truth
- Participate in and serve the Church
- Gain a Biblical world and life view
- Share Christ with others both near and far
- Use their time, talents and treasures for God’s glory
Sunday School
This is a special time where children receive rich, theological teaching in a close-knit setting. Classes are from ages 2 to 5th grade (in addition to a nursery) and begin at 9:30 am.
Children's Church
We encourage families to worship together! For children ages 4 to 1st grade, we offer Children’s Church where children are dismissed from the service to enjoy their own Bible lesson, music and activities.
Wednesday Night
Wednesday nights allow kids to know they are a part of the church
family! Enjoying a meal together, hanging out on the playground and learning about the truths of our faith through a lesson and games are just a few things the kids experience on Wednesday nights. Dinner is served at 5:45 pm and classes begin at 6:30 pm.
Nursery
We provide a nursery during Sunday School, Sunday Morning Worship and Wednesday Night activities.
