NMPC is committed to carrying the good news of the Gospel—in word and deed—to all who need to hear in the community, on the campus, across the nation, and around the world. We seek to do this by reaching out to those in our own circles of relationships and through strategic partnerships with ministries and missionaries serving locally, regionally, nationally, and globally. We are committed to pray for, partner with, and participate in these ministries to make disciples of Jesus Christ of all nations.
Local Partners
We partner locally with like-minded, Christ-centered ministries here in Macon-Bibb County and Middle Georgia to demonstrate the love of God in tangible ways to those in need in our community, including:
- Covenant Care Adoptions (offering counseling to women facing unexpected pregnancies and placing children in loving, Christian, two-parent homes)
- Campus Clubs (educating children of poverty, teaching biblical values, and developing life skills)
- The Freedom Collective of Middle Georgia (serving human and sex trafficking victims in central Georgia)
Campus Partners
North Macon partners with the PCA’s campus ministry, Reformed University Ministries, in seeking to reach college students in Macon and Central Georgia. RUF’s mission is to “connect the big truths of the Bible with the big questions college students face, reaching students for Christ and equipping them to serve,” and we are delighted to partner with them at Mercer University and Columbus State University.
Regional Partners
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, we are committed to partnering with the churches of our region and across the nation to start new churches through our partnership with Central Georgia Presbytery and Mission to North America. We also seek to help the victims of natural disasters in the Southeast through our partnership with MNA Disaster Response.
National Partners
For many years now, NMPC has partnered with Sacred Road Ministries in its mission “to love our ‘first neighbors’ by redeeming broken lives, restoring hope to the oppressed, and rebuilding the communities on both the Yakama and Warm Springs reservations” in Washington and Oregon. We do this in two ways—by sending a team of youth and adults each summer to serve on the ground in Swan Lake, WA, and by supporting several resident staff to serve the Yakama people year-round as church planters and pastors.
Global Partners
NMPC seeks to do its part in obeying the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to proclaim the gospel to the nations by partnering in prayer and providing financial support to missionaries serving primarily with the PCA’s Mission to the World. Our missionaries serve a variety of fields across the world—Europe, Central & South America, Africa, and East, South & Southeast Asia.
